Amakosi was formed in Feb 2006 by its Managing Director Paul Bowker who has worked in the telecommunications industry for 12 years.  Based out of Auckland, New Zealand, the staff of Amakosi spend most of their time out with their customers. Profile Managing Director : Paul Bowker Paul Bowker has worked in the IT industry for over 15 years having spent 11 of those in Telecom holding a wide variety of both management and technical roles. He now consults to customers such as the Auckland International Airport, Gen-i, Linfox, VCMedia and the Tauranga Port. Paul specializes in Wireless technology and Web Development having designed the wireless network now utilized at the Auckland Airport. Paul was also involved in the successful pilot testing of RFID technologies for Telecom and Gen-i using both triangulation track and trace, and near field communications technologies.. Paul also competes in Triathlons having completed 11 Ironmans, 17 Half Ironmans along with many other endurance events. Amakosi is based in New Zealand, but has and can do, work world wide.
